Once a noble and influential member of the Dragon Council, Stendhal conspired with the evil magus Xenoz to overthrow the Dragon King. He is responsible for the death of Thoron's queen. Although imprisoned in a Krystal for a thousand years for his crimes, he is considered Thoron's greatest enemy.

Stendhal continues to envy Thoron's throne. Along with Scylla, he plans to overthrow both the Human and Dragon Realms.
